The New Bedford Police Union would like the acknowledge the work that was done by Senator Mark Montigny and his colleagues in bringing attention to a subject which many people from many different walks of life find difficult to address. The allocation of resources to such an important issue in the lives of police officers and their loved ones is certainly great news considering the challenges those officers continue to face on a daily basis.
