Friday, March 4 2022 at approximately 11:45 PM; Massachusetts State Trooper, Tamar Bucci, 34, was attempting to pull over to assist a disabled motor vehicle on Route 93 north in Stoneham when her cruiser was struck by a gasoline tanker carrying a full load of 10,000 gallons of gasoline.
Bucci’s funeral services were held at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Wake services on Tuesday, March 8 2022 with approximately 1200 service members in attendance. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 9 2022 with an approximated 2000 service members in attendance.
Bucci was escorted by six female troopers from the 85th Recruit Training Troop who served as Bucci’s pallbearers.
